What is Corporate Mentoring?

The Corporate Mentoring program through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Finney & Kearny Counties is a partnership between local businesses and the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Mentors are employees who spend time matched one to one with a child in their community in a school setting. Matches are supported by professional staff. Spending time at a local school makes it very convenient for people who would not otherwise have time to volunteer. This is an easy way for them to participate in the community as they can spend time during their lunch hour or break volunteering.

What is the time commitment?

One half hour- per child -per week for one school semester, or school year.
