Goals

To aid children from single parent families, grandparent families, and foster families where appropriate, between the ages of 5 and 17, in their growth into healthy and functional adult members of society;
To assist these children in their social, emotional and character development through techniques in human services developed and utilized by the corporation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and other lay and professional persons;
To provide ongoing supportive services to volunteer Big Brothers and Big Sisters who have a significant influence in the lives of these children;
To provide selected special services to the families of these children as required;
To join with other organizations providing human services to such children and their families, in creating a climate of maximal human growth and development through common research, education and action.
