Personal information:

  • Kaye is married to Gregg, they have 2 grown sons who are married with 2 children each. Grand parenting has proven to be one of life's greatest joys.
  • Their oldest son is in the Army as an Apache helicopter pilot, proudly serving our country.
  • Their younger son is a certified diesel mechanic and is living in their home town. So that makes it great for spoiling the grand kids.
  • She survived a battle with Burkitts Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2005. She is so thankful to KU Med., the medical advancements and our great Lord for the healing she received.
This has changed some of her extra curricular activities.

Extra curricular activities include:

  • Look Good ... Feel Better; A program where volunteers help women who are battling cancer handle the challenges that occur in their skin care and hair care needs. Each woman is given a kit full of make-up and provided instructions on how to care for the changes in their skin, plus make-up tips to assist them in the challenges that they may face. Assistance is also available to the women in picking out wigs or head coverings.
This is a coordinated effort between the American Cancer Society, the National Cosmetology Association,
and the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation.
  • Relay For Life; Kaye has been a Team Captain since 2006 raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Her team has done well in their efforts. Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event that celebrates survivorship and raises money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society. Relay participants are able to celebrate those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and empower individuals and communities to fight back against a disease that takes so much.
  • Travel; Domestic or foreign, just say where and when and she is ready to take a break. Seeing God's great creation is such a joy, plus it's interesting to see how life is for people all over the world.
  • Church; Regular worship service attendance is a must. She is active in teaching, councils, bible studies and volunteering where needed. Serving God is what makes all the rest worth while.
  • Women's Chamber of Commerce; Kaye has been a member since 2006. This organization strives to serve the community where possible.
