Thank you from the Garden City Family YMCA for your support of the "Proud Heritage...Exciting Future Capital Campaign." The goal of the campaign is to renovate an expand the current Garden City Family YMCA facility for participants in the local and surrounding communities.

Since 1964, the YMCA has provided programs and a facility that serve Finney County. In 2006, there were a total of 2,946 members, 26,568 participants, 97 programs, 1,017 volunteers and $211,649 in annual support. The YMCA is proud of this rich heritage.  The future of Garden City Family YMCA is bright, with expansions totaling more than $2 million developing an additional 20,771 square-feet of facility space.  The progress is divided into two phases with phase I monumental additions including a new family recreational pool, new early childhood center, new child watch room, new entry, new youth multipurpose room, expanded cardio fitness area, expanded strength training area, expanded parking, improved men's locker rooms, improved family locker room, and improved administrative offices. Phase II development includes a new second gymnasium, new indoor running/walking track, new special activity rooms and more!  "We build strong kids, strong families, strong communities"
